Severe Weather Week

We’re a little slow on the draw here, but we just found out about this.  March 2-8 is, belatedly in many places but still timely in others, National Severe Weather Preparedness Week.  The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has a web page on the subject with many links, some of which you might find useful for your own emergency preparedness; see http://www.nws.noaa.gov/com/weatherreadynation/severe.html#.UxlY3L9zeHk.  And by the way, next week is Flood Awareness Week (http://www.floodsafety.noaa.gov/), and the week after that Tsunami Awareness Week (http://www.tsunamiready.noaa.gov/).
