NKF and the Portland Kidney Group will hold their annual Patient & Community Education Symposium March 6, 2016 in Portland, on The Journey from Dialysis to Transplant: Optimal Wellness. The keynote speaker will be Legacy Lead Transplant Coordinator and transplant recipient John Fallgren, RN, BS. The program also includes breakfast with experts and mentors, a panel discussion on treatment options, Celebration of Everyday Heroes, and presentation of the inaugural Elizabeth Kemble Friends of the Kidney Community Award. The free event includes kidney-friendly breakfast and lunch, educational resources, twenty exhibitors, and time to mingle with experts and fellow patients.
