The National Weather Service has posted advisories for unseasonably hot temperatures in the 90s for Washington, Oregon, and southern Idaho on Saturday, Sunday and in some areas Monday, June 4-7, 2016. Temperatures are expected to moderate somewhat as the weather system moves eastward into Montana. NWS is advising the elderly and those with existing health concerns to remain hydrated, and attempt to stay in a cool place during the heat of the day. They also recommend caution cooling off in lakes and rivers, as the water is still cold at this time of year, and hypothermia can be fatal.
