SC Heat, Fluids Again

Temperatures are again forecast to exceed 100°F in the Coachella,  Imperial, and Antelope Valleys through August 8, 2016, reaching 117°F at times in some locations.   See our previous post at https://nwrnbulletins.wordpress.com/2016/07/22/sc-extreme-heat-fluid-control/ for suggestions on patient (and staff) education about keeping cool while still managing fluid intake.

The Renal Support Group has published a useful article, a patient’s story about fluids management, titled “Fluid Control For Energy to Live a Full Life.”  Find it at http://www.rsnhope.org/health-library/article-index/fluid-control-for-energy-to-live-full-life/
