CROWNWeb has announced after the fact that the submission deadline for the first reporting period of the PY2019 QIP Pain Assessment and Follow-Up Reporting Measure, in CROWNWeb, has been extended from July 31, 2017 to August 31, 2017, at 8:59 PM PDT.
CMS has again extended the CROWNWeb deadline, to February 10, 2017, for submitting November 2016 clinical data, including the pain assessment, depression screening, and ICH CAHPS Survey attestation for the ESRD QIP, all originally due by January 31, 2017. CMS has announced that the January 31, 2017 deadline for entering November 2016 clinical data has been extended to February 7, 2017. The extension includes
- November 2016 clinical data
- Pain assessment
- Depression screening
- ICH CAHPS Survey attestation for the ESRD QIP
All originally due by January 31, 2017.

CMS has announced that the deadline for submission of Pain Assessment data has also been extended, until August 31, 2016 at 11:59pm ET, to allow for the transition to EIDM/QARM. CMS has announced that they have extended until August 15, 2016 the deadline for entering data for the QIP Reporting Measure on Pain Assessment into CROWNWeb.
The PY2018 QIP requires that facilities enter patient Pain Assessment for every eligible patient into CROWNWeb by August 01, 2016, and again before February 1, 2017. Eligible patients are 18 or older and have been treated for 90 or more days at a facility with 11 or more eligible patients that opened before July 1, 2016.
