NHSN Dialysis Event Validation

We’ve added a page of Tips on the Importance of NHSN Dialysis Event Data Validation to the Infection Control page of the Northwest Renal Network website, at http://www.nwrenalnetwork.org/Infections.htm#fac.  Dialysis Event definitions and data entry processes are complex, and if your data is inaccurate, your facility could be inappropriately assigned to an Infection Control QI project, or worse, opportunities to reduce morbidity and mortality could be missed, at the expense of your patients.  If you lose track of our Infection Control page, you can find it on our QI menu, at http://www.nwrenalnetwork.org/QI/QI.htm.
